video of the day: Discovery launch viewed from a plane

On it's 39th and final mission, the Discovery shuttle is captured soaring through the
skies by a passenger aboard a flight. Cabin comments are pretty funny if you can
hear them (typical airplane humor). The shuttle is set to retire upon it's arrival
on land on Monday, March 7, 2011.

video of the day: Undercity.

I just had to share this amazing documentary I just watched on Vimeo:

"Undercity", made by Andrew Wonder, takes us on a journey through parts
of New York City that are forbidden to the general public. No permits
were granted here either as we follow urban historian and photographer
Steve Duncan in what is one of the best documentaries I've seen in a while.

(running time:28 minutes)
